DESCRIPTION:
Aqua fitness is a language of movement. The instructor moves and motivates from the deck, using (with) clear, precise demonstration of ‘intentional’ movement execution and presentation using CALA’s S.P.I.C.E. formula for unforgettable form. We use of Speed of Movement and Direction of Emphasis on the properties of Buoyancy/Resistance/Turbulence to ‘intentionally’ manipulate/maximize the magical properties of the water. As our participants watch, interpret and listen from the water, we use words that invite involvement, inclusion and intention.
Being a CALA instructor, we Practice being a motivational mover through infectious and influential leadership.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
1) Clear, precise demonstration of movement execution and presentation using CALA’s S.P.I.C.E. formula for unforgettable form.
2) The use of Speed of Movement and Direction of Emphasis on the properties of Buoyancy/Resistance/Turbulence.
3) Sprinkle unpredictability – exercise and mind challenges to invite fun and presence.
4) Texture the movements with variations (tempo/body orientation/ rhythm) that will deepen engagement of the mind/muscle & brain/body connections.
5) Words that invite involvement, inclusion and intention.
6) Skill development: Teach, Mark, Coach to ensure instructor preservation.
